On Saturday, 02 May 2020 at approximately 04:30, the complainant (46) and her daughter (20) were alone at home in Chatty.
The complainant woke up when she heard footsteps in her yard she immediately woke her daughter. The front door was forced open and two suspects entered.
The suspects were armed with firearms and threatened the complainant and her daughter while demanding cash.
They took cell phones, a handbag with perfume and a laptop bag with labour law books.
A Dexion 42inch TV was also taken during the robbery.
While on the scene members followed up on information received and two suspects both 20 years old were arrested.
The TV and the laptop bag with books were recovered.
