Centane Police arrested a 27-year old man for alleged murder of a 25-year old man.
It is alleged that the suspect was fighting with another man on Tuesday, 07 July 2020 at about 16h00 at Ntilini Locality, Centule Village, Centane.
The 25-year old man intervened and the suspect allegedly stabbed him on his upper body.
He was rushed to Tafalofefe Hospital where he later passed away.
The murder was reported to Centane Police who acted swiftly by tracing and arresting the suspect on Wednesday, 08 July 2020.
The suspect will be charged for murder and will appear before the Centane Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 10 July 2020. The deceased was identified as Bonani Jika aged 25.
