The City would like to advise residents that the Metro Police Control Room, situated at Ground floor South End Fire-station, has a COVID - 19 incident.
Management has decided to temporarily close off the control room for decontamination.
Decontamination will take place today, Wednesday, 18 November 2020, and it is envisaged that the Control Room will reopen by Thursday evening at 18:00 , 19 November 2020.
All employees, who have been identified as close contacts, will be in self isolation and will return to work after decontamination of the control room.
All employees with symptoms will be referred for testing by their respective health practitioners.
We humbly ask that residents bear with us as this will affect service delivery.
