Detectives at SAPS Bethelsorp seek public’s assistance in tracing a 54-year-old Somerset East man who went missing on 30 October 2020.
According to police information, recently retired Quinton Bradley Plaatjies was staying with friends in Nysschen Street in Ext 29 Bethelsdorp for the last three months.
His friends last saw him on 30 October 2020 when they went away for two days.
On their return on 1 November 2020, they found that all his belongings were still at the house however Plaatjies and his vehicle were missing.
On 07 November 2020, his vehicle, a blue Ford Eco Sport, was found abandoned near Beer Shack in Beach Road. He is still missing and his whereabouts are unknown.
