The City wishes to inform residents that Metro Police Deployment Office, situated in Kwanobuhle, has a COVID-19 incident.
Management has decided to temporarily close off the deployment center for decontamination to be completed. Deployment of staff will temporarily happen from another deployment office.
Decontamination will take place on Saturday, 21 November 2020, and it is envisaged that the deployment center will reopen by Monday 23 November 2020.
All employees, who have been identified as close contacts, will be in self isolation and will return after decontamination of the control room. All employees with symptoms will be referred for testing by their respective health practitioners .
They humbly ask that residents bear with us as this will affect service delivery.
