PORT ELIZABETH - TEEN, 16, GOES ALLEGEDLY GOES MISSING IN CAPE ROAD AFTER LEAVING GRANDMOTHER'S HOME

SAPS Kabega Park detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 16-year-old teenager who is missing since yesterday afternoon, 30 January 2021 from his house in St Albans.


According to police information, at about 13:30 on the mentioned date, Mrs Veronica Zaaiman (71), the teen’s grandmother was in the bathroom and her grandson, Daniel Zaaiman was making lunch for himself in the kitchen. 

When she returned to the kitchen she noticed that her grandson was nowhere to be found and she started looking for him. 

She then drove in her car towards the main road, which is Cape Road. 

As she reached Cape Road, she saw to two females who were standing next to the road and they informed her that they saw him getting into a white car (make and registration unknown).

Her grandson’s school bag is missing.  

He was wearing shorts and a T-shirt.  

According to his friends, Daniel indicated at some time that he would like to go to his mother in Vanderbijlpark in Gauteng.  

His mother was contacted but she bears no knowledge of him coming to her.
