The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Kariega is investigating a case of kidnapping, following the disappearance of Chevon Carol (02), outside her home in Kirkwood on Thursday last week.
On Thursday morning, 4 August 2021 at about 10:00, it is alleged that a two-year-old girl, Chevon Carol was last seen playing outside her home in Suiker Bekkie Street in Bergsig (Kirkwood).
Police followed several leads to trace Chevon, who is believed is somewhere in Addo.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Chevon Carol, or shed some light on her disappearance is kindly requested to contact the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Mbulelo Grootboom on 072 732 5132, the Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or report to the nearest police station.
Police are also requesting a person of interest, Veronique Willemse, to contact the investigating officer that is working on the case, so that she could assist with police investigation.
