A 30-year-old alleged murder suspect was arrested early this evening, 09 October 2021 for the murder of Justine Jantjies on 30 August 2021 in Shauderville.
It is alleged that on the mentioned date about 20:30, Justine Jantjies (45) opened the gate for her husband to enter.
As the couple entered the living room, shots were fired and she was fatally wounded. She sustained one gunshot wound to her face.
The incident took place at their house in Glendenning Street in Shauderville.
Police have been on the hunt for the suspect and has left no stone unturned in their quest to trace the suspect.
On Saturday, 9 October 2021, SAPS Gelvandale Crime Prevention and detective members once again followed up on information relating to the suspect in this case and a house in Aubrey Street, Gelvan Park was tactically approached.
The suspect was found in the house and was apprehended.
He is detained on a charge of murder and will appear in the Gelvandale magistrate court on Monday, 11 October 2021.
