2 two males were admitted at 03:10, this morning, Sunday, 17 October 2021, to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
The incident took place in Taylorbird Avenue in Rosedale.
A 20-year-old male passed away in hospital while the second victim, also a 20 year old male is receiving medical treatment.
The motive for the murder and attempted murder is not known at this stage and is under investigation.
The name of the deceased will be released once his next of kin was notified. Investigations are continuing.
