NELSON MANDELA BAY - BODY BELIEVED TO BE A PEDESTRIAN FOUND LYING ON R75

The South African Police Service in Despatch are urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of an unidentified male.




On Wednesday, 20 October 2021 at about 23:55, a community member found the body of a pedestrian lying on the road on the R75 (close to Joe Slovo). 

The deceased is believed to be in his twenties and was clad in a pair of black jeans, a black belt, blue boxer trousers, blue jacket, a black beanie with the emblem 'Red Bat' and a pair of black and white old school Vans takkies. 

The victim is of medium build and approximately 1,69m tall.  A case of culpable homicide was opened and under investigation. 

Anyone who might be looking for a relative or who might be able to assist with information about the incident or who can lead police to his next of kin, or the identity of the deceased, is requested to contact the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Rohan Nel on 0824417828, 041 933 8000/17 or SAPS Crime Stop 08600 10111 or contact the nearest police station.
