SAPS Algoa Park has opened an inquest after a 30-year-old man died in his outbuilding which burned during the early hours of this morning, 2 November 2021.
It is alleged that on the abovementioned date at approximately 00:30, SAPS Algoa Park responded to a complaint of a fire at a house in 5th Avenue, Cradock Place.
On arrival they noticed that the outbuilding at the back was on fire.
After the fire was extinguished, the body of Colin Snyman (30) was found inside.
The cause of the fire is unknown and will form part of the investigation.
