The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Kariega is urgently seeking the community’s assistance in locating a 14 year-old girl who went missing on Thursday, 16 December 2021. Onela Mbachu, who is residing at the Oosterland Youth Centre, Berg Street, Despatch, went out for the day, but never returned to the Youth Centre.
Onela was clad in a grey tracksuit top, black tracksuit pants and black tekkies at the time of her disappearance.
She is about 1,6m tall and weight 57kg.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Sonwabo Teko on 071 475 2400, SAPS Crime Stop 08600 10111 or contact the nearest police station.
