SAPS Algoa Park arrested an alleged murder suspect after a man was fatally stabbed during the early hours of Saturday morning, 11 December 2021 in Algoa Park.
It is alleged that at approximately 00:10, the deceased was home with his girlfriend in Whyteleaf Drive in Algoa Park when he was embroiled in an argument with a man at his house.
While he was busy drinking a beer outside, his neighbour approached him asking for beer as well.
It is further alleged that the deceased refused to give the suspect a beer where after he was stabbed once on the left side of his chest.
The deceased, aged 40, who has been identified, died on the scene.
The suspect was arrested and detained on a charge of murder and will appear in the New Brighton Magistrate's Court soon.
