The Municipality wishes to update residents that both connections to the KwaNobuhle pipeline are now complete.
The valves are being opened while pumping is continuing to fill the reminder of the distribution system.
Once filled, the water will start flowing into the Chelsea reservoir and the high lying areas will start getting water.
With these connections done, all the major planned shutdowns are complete.
No further shutdowns are anticipated for the next two to three weeks.
It is important to remember that this does not include unforeseen maintenance disruptions as a result of burst, or mechanical and electrical failures.
