The Municipality wishes to update residents that the water supply system continues to recover.
Apart from the high lying areas, the system is full as indicated by the pressure readings onserved this morning. Chelsea reservoir is currently at 5%.
Gelvandale reservoir is empty and the water continues to fill up the reticulation system. High lying areas around Gelvandale and Helenvale will be affected the most.
Water tankers have been dispatched to the locations below:
1) Roaming in Gelvan Park / Springdale.
2) Roaming in Hillside / Windvogel.
3) Roaming in Zwide.
4) Roaming in Kwazakele, Ward 22.
5) Sherwood Spar.
6) Roaming in Soweto on Sea.
