SAPS Despatch is urgently seeking the community’s assistance in locating a 37-year-old man.
On the morning of 1 May 2022 George Fredrik Stefanus van der Merwe left his residence in Despatch and never returned.
George van der Merwe was clad in a pair of blue jeans, a black top and black shoes at the time of his disappearance. He has various tattoos:
A cross with the names: ‘Natasha and Cindy’ on his back; a flower with an angel on his back; two dragons on his stomach; the wording ‘What am I’ on the left arm and the wording ‘Hope, faith and love’ on the right arm.
