KARIEGA | NEXT OF KIN SOUGHT FOR UNIDENTIFIED MURDER VICTIM FOUND NEXT TO R75 WITH MULTIPLE STAB WOUNDS

The SAPS in Uitenhage are urgently trying to trace the next-of-kin of an unidentified body. 

On Wednesday, 4 January 2023 at about 15:10, the body of an unknown male, presumably in his early twenties, was found next to the R75 road, Kariega. (Close to the Amanzi turn-off). 

The man had multiple stab wounds to his neck.

The victim was clad in a black jacket, blue T-shirt, beige trousers and beige socks. 

The motive for his death is unknown at this stage and a case of murder is under investigation.
