The South African Police Service in Despatch are urgently trying to trace the next-of-kin of an unidentified male.
On Tuesday, 7 February 2023 at about 03:50, the body of an unknown male, presumably in his thirties, was found next to the M19, Perseverance Road, Despatch.
The man was clad in a light grey pair of jeans and a black shirt.
Despatch Police have opened a case of culpable homicide and is appealing to anyone who can assist in identifying the victim or anyone who might be looking for a relative who may be missing, or might have information about the incident to contact Detective Warrant Officer Carol Els on 084 030 1219 / 082 441 7828, SAPS Despatch on 041 933 8000 or the nearest police station.
