NELSON MANDELA BAY | MUNICIPALITY FINES MAN R5000 FOR 'ILLEGALLY EXTRACTING' WATER FROM NORTH END LAKE
The Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium management alerted the NMB Rapid Response Task Team (RRTT) office of a truck extracting water illegally from the North End Lake.
The RRTT office activated Security Management and Metro Police immediately and the teams responded swiftly.
The culprit who was extracting water illegally was whipped with a R5000 fine by the Public Health Law Enforcement Team according to by-laws.
Anyone who witnesses water being extracted or sold illegally is urged to report such that the law can take its cause accordingly (names of anyone who reports will remain anonymous)
