GQEBERHA | SUSPECT CAUGHT WITH LARGE AMOUNT OF FENCING ALLEGEDLY STOLEN FROM LORRAINE PROPERTY

Thief nabbed in the Lorraine area thanks to teamwork between vigilant community member and a private security company. 

Information was recieved from a community member who reported two males walking near the security company's customer premises.

A response officer responded and made contact with a guard who was also stationed in Circular drive.. 

He checked their customer’s premises and found all in order but found a large amount of fencing missing from an empty lot behind the owner’s premises.

Our officer put two and two together and contacted the community member who was monitoring a male moving into the Lorraine area and confronted the suspect. 

SAPS was contacted and the suspect and scene were handed over for further investigation.
