A 29 year old known gangster was shot and wounded outside a primary school in Shauderville Port Elizabeth, just before 8 o'clock on Friday morning.The man had just dropped off his fiancé, a teacher at the school, and as he drove out the school gates, shots were fired from a white VW Golf.
Police Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the man sustained three bullet wounds to his left shoulder and was taken to hospital for treatment.
No suspects have been arrested yet and police are investigating a case of attempted murder.
