BUTTERWORTH - WOMAN STABS BOYFRIEND TO DEATH AFTER HE DEMANDED FOOD

A woman from Butterworth has reportedly stabbed her boyfriend to death, after she refused to cook him food.

It is believed that when the couple returned to their shack in the Skiet informal settlement on Friday evening, the boyfriend demanded that she make him something to eat.

When she refused, stating that she did not cook, a fight erupted.

She then stabbed the victim in his chest, before making her way to the Butterworth police station to hand herself over.

She has been charged with murder.

She appeared in the Butterworth Magistrate’s Court briefly on Monday.
