Five people will appear in the Grahamstown magistrate’s court on Wednesday.They were arrested in April for disruptive behaviour during anti-rape protests at Rhodes University.
The demonstration outside campus led to the suspension of classes.
The police said the students used furniture, brooms and stones to block roads.
They were demanding action after 11 male students were accused of rape.
The men's names were circulated on social media.
