The Department of Home Affairs has extended its working hours ahead of the upcoming elections.Its offices nationwide will open for business on Saturday 30 July from 8.30am to 5pm.
On Monday and Tuesday, 1 and 2 August, its offices will close at 6pm.
All its offices will close at 7pm on election day, 3 August.
The department says there are about 290,000 ID books and Smart ID cards ready for collection.
