In one incident on Wednesday, 13 July 2016 at about 10:15, Constable Zayn Matill and his dog "Zest" searched a house in Highfield Road, Shauderville. Immediately after entering the house, the dog ran to a drawer of a dressing table and started scratching it. When the handler opened the drawer, he found a packet containing smaller parcels of dagga wrapped in newspaper.
The dog also found tik bulbs in a wardrobe. A 31-year-old man was arrested and will appear in court today, 14/07 for dealing in drugs. Seventeen rolls of dagga and 20 tik bulbs were confiscated by police.
