UITENHAGE - POLICE BAFFLED AFTER NEPHEW FINDS UNCLE DEAD WITH MULTIPLE GUNSHOT WOUNDS IN HIS KWANOBUHLE HOME

Police in KwaNobuhle seek public’s assistance in solving a murder case after the lifeless body of Chuma Vutha (38) was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside the house in KwaNobuhle, Uitenhage last night.

On Thursday, 20 June 2019 at about 7:20pm, the police were summoned to a complaint of possible murder inside the house in Sigila Crescent, KwaNobuhle (Uitenhage). 

At the scene, police found the lifeless body of a man that was identified as Chuma Vutha with multiple gunshot wounds in the upper body.  Vutha’s nephew alleged that he was visiting his uncle (Vutha) when he found the body of his uncle lying on the floor inside the bedroom.

At this stage, the motive for the shooting is unknown however the police are looking at all possibilities.  Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect (s) is urged to contact the KwaNobuhle detectives number for serious crimes at 082 319 9223 or the information may also be shared via Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
