EASTERN CAPE - TAPS HAVE NOW RUN DRY IN BUTTERWORTH

The last time Butterworth had a heavy downpour was in June.

Taps in the small Eastern Cape town are now completely dry.

The town is just one of the many in the province that has reached Day Zero.

The local municipality is promising it has plans to bring some relief.

For the people of the Eastern Cape, such help can't come quickly enough.
