The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Motherwell is seeking the communities’ assistance in tracing a 13-year-old teenager who went missing on Saturday, 16 January 2021.
According to police information, Zenathi Bekela left her house at about 14:00 on the mentioned date in Luwela Street, Soweto-on-Sea.
She informed her aunt that she was going to visit a friend close by and never returned.
Her mother reported her missing on Monday, 18 January 2021.
She was last wearing a grey top, black jeans and pink sandals. She has braided hair.
Anyone who can assist police in tracing Ms Bekela or may know of her whereabouts, is asked to contact D/Sgt Jerome Jacobs on 071 475 2324 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
