PORT ELIZABETH - UNIDENTIFIED TEEN'S BODY WITH MULTIPLE STAB WOUNDS FOUND LYING IN BUSHES BETWEEN GELVANDALE AND ALGOA PARK

Gelvandale detectives are urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of a teenager whose body was found this morning, in bushes in Gelvandale.

It is alleged that at about 08:30 police received information of a body of a female lying in bushes between Gelvandale and Algoa Park. 

The female, approximately 16-year-old was wearing a pair of black pants and a purple top. Her hair is braided. She sustained multiple stab wounds.

A case of murder is under investigation. An additional charge of rape may be added pending the post mortem report.
