The body of a 31-year-old male was found near a dam behind Khumbelani Street in Soweto-On-Sea this morning.
It is alleged that at about 09:45, police found the body of Thembelani Sikade wrapped in a plastic bag.
The deceased sustained burn marks on his back as well as severe injuries to his body.
The motive and suspects are unknown at this stage.
Police investigation continues.
SAPS Kwazakele detectives are investigating a case of murder.
