Due to high demand in other areas of the Metro, Reservoir Hills, higher lying parts of Khayamnandi and Joe Slovo West have been experiencing intermittent water interruptions.
The affected areas are high in elevation, and there is frequently insufficient pressure to adequately supply the reservoir.
In order to get water to these affected areas, the Water & Sanitation Department is restricting water to other areas.
Water tankers have also been dispatched to help alleviate the affected areas' water shortages.
